Winter outbreak continues in Punjab and Haryana, minimum temperature in Hisar is 4.4 degree Celsius


Chandigarh, Jan 15 Agency) The winter season continued in Punjab and Haryana and Hisar recorded the lowest temperature of 4.4 degrees Celsius on Saturday. The Meteorological Department gave this information. Other places in Haryana such as Ambala, Karnal and Narnaul recorded minimum temperatures of 7.4 degrees, 7.8 degrees and 5.6 degrees Celsius, respectively. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperatures in Rohtak, Gurugram and Bhiwani in the state were 8.6 degrees, 7.5 degrees and 8.9 degrees Celsius, respectively. Amritsar, Ludhiana and Patiala in Punjab recorded minimum temperatures of 6.8 degrees, 7.2 degrees and 6.9 degrees Celsius, respectively, on Saturday. Chandigarh, the joint capital and union territory of Punjab and Haryana, recorded a minimum temperature of 8.1 degrees Celsius, three notches below normal. According to the Meteorological Department, there was fog at many places including Chandigarh, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Patiala, Ambala, Karnal and Narnaul.
