Will not allow any attempt to unilaterally change the status quo on borders: Naravane

New Delhi, January 15 (Agency) Army Chief General MM Navarne said on the Army Day parade that our message is clear that the Indian Army will not allow any attempt to unilaterally change the status quo on the borders of the country to succeed. He said last year has been extremely challenging for the Army. He said that the 14th round of military-level talks between India and China was held recently to keep the situation under control. Joint efforts at various levels have led to the withdrawal of forces from many areas, which is a constructive move. The Army Chief said the situation along the Line of Control was better than the previous year, but Pakistan was still providing shelter to terrorists.
