GST collection up 17 percent in Himachal

Shimla (Nice) : Himachal Pradesh has registered a 17 percent growth in the Goods and Services Tax collection in the month of November and stood at Rs 385.21 crore as compared to Rs 329.64 crore in November 2020. A spokesperson of the Excise and Taxation Department said that the Gross Goods and Services Tax collection till November in the current financial year has been Rs 2815.53 crore as against Rs 2023.70 crore in the corresponding period of last financial year and thus the GST collection has increased in comparison to the previous year. A growth of 39 percent has been registered till date. He said that the Goods and Services Tax of the State has registered a continuous positive growth in this financial year.
