Goods and Services Tax (GST) collection rose to over Rs 1.31 lakh crore in November. This is the second highest collection since the implementation of GST in July 2017. It is 25 percent higher as compared to November 2020 and 27 percent higher than November 2019. The Finance Ministry gave this information on Wednesday. The total GST revenue collected in November includes CGST 23978 crore, SGST 31127 crore, IGST 66815 crore and Cess Rs 9606 crore, the ministry said in a statement.
