2 cases of Omicron variant found in Karnataka: Health Ministry

2 cases of Omicron variant have been found in Karnataka. This information was given by the Ministry of Health to the media today. Today the Ministry informed that there are more than 10,000 under-treatment patients of Kovid in Kerala, Maharashtra, while the number of patients under treatment in 9 states and union territories is between 1,000 and 10,000. The ministry said that the weekly rate of confirmation of corona virus infection is more than 10 percent in 15 districts, while it is between five and 10 percent in 18 districts. The ministry said that in India, 84.3 percent of the adult population has received the first dose of Kovid vaccine, 49 percent have received the second dose.
