Russian President Putin will come to India on 6th

Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay an official visit to India on December 6, where he will attend the 21st India-Russia Annual Summit with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and hold detailed discussions on all dimensions of the bilateral and special strategic relationship. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi gave this information in the weekly press conference. There will also be ‘2+2’ ministerial talks on December 6 in which Defense and Foreign Ministers of both the countries will participate, he said. He said that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu will visit India on 5-6 December to participate in the ‘2+2’ ministerial talks. Bagchi said that Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will participate in this meeting from the Indian side.

“On December 6, President Putin and Prime Minister Modi will participate in the 21st India-Russia Annual Summit,” a Foreign Ministry spokesperson said. It is noteworthy that the last India-Russia summit was held on September 2019 in Vladibostak and due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this meeting could not be held in 2020.
