Air Force ‘Mirage’ crashes, pilot safe

Gwalior, October 21 (Agency)

A Mirage aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed in Bhind district on Thursday morning. Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar Singh said that the Indian Air Force plane crashed in a village named Manka Bagh, about 8 km from Bhind district. The plane caught fire as soon as it crashed, but the pilot was ejected safely. The Air Force said in a tweet, “The Mirage 200 aircraft encountered a technical fault during a training flight in the Central Sector this morning.”
