Accidental shot by Alec Baldwin on set, cinematographer dies and director injured

Actor Alec Baldwin was recently accidentally shot on the sets of the film ‘Rust’, killing a cinematographer on the spot and injuring the director of the film. The special thing is that this incident happened with the gun, which was being used as a prop gun in the film.

The incident happened on the set of the movie ‘Rust’ in New Mexico. It is being told that during the shoot, Alec Baldwin fired from the gun being used in the film which hit 42-year-old cinematographer Halina Hutchins. Halina was immediately taken to the hospital by helicopter, but she died midway. At the same time, director Joel Souza was also injured in this accident.

Although the police have not registered any criminal case in this case, but it is being investigated whether the prop gun or the gun used in the film was filled with real bullets or how. The projectile was discharged.

According to ‘The Hollywood Reporter’, a spokesperson associated with the film told that only blanks were used in the prop gun. The incident happened at the Bonanza Creek Ranch near Santa Fe, where the film was being shot.
