Bombay High Court to hear Aryan Khan’s bail plea on October 26, judicial custody extended till October 30

The Bombay High Court will hear on October 26 the bail plea of ​​Aryan Khan, son of actor Shah Rukh Khan, arrested in connection with the seizure of drugs from a cruise boat off the Mumbai coast. At the same time, in the drugs case, the Mumbai Court has extended the judicial custody of 8 accused including Aryan Khan till October 30.

Aryan Khan’s lawyer presented the petition in the High Court on Friday before a single bench of Justice N W Sambre and requested for an urgent hearing. At the same time, the Additional Solicitor General, appearing for Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), sought time till next week. Justice N W Sambre then fixed October 26 for hearing. The court will also hear the bail plea of ​​fashion model Munmun Dhamecha arrested in the same case that day. A special court in the metropolis had on Wednesday refused bail to Aryan Khan, saying prima facie he was regularly involved in drug-related activities. The court had said that even from the WhatsApp chat, prima facie it appears that he was in contact with drug smugglers.
