The Indian cricket team’s outfit for the upcoming T20 World Cup was released on Wednesday and the ‘Billion Cheers’ outfit is claimed to have been inspired by fans. The Indian team will start its campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan in Dubai in the T20 World Cup to be held in the United Arab Emirates and Oman from October 17 to November 14.
The official kit sponsor of the Indian men’s, women’s and U-19 teams ‘MPL Sports’ released this new outfit called the ‘Billion Cheers outfit’ inspired by the fans of the team. According to MPL Sports, ‘This is the first time in the history of Indian cricket that the emotions of the fans have been depicted on the dress which is shown by a distinctive ‘sound wave’ pattern.
The dress has two ‘shades’ of dark blue.
BCCI President Sourav Ganguly said, “The Indian cricket team has fans not just in India but across the world and there could have been no better way to celebrate their enthusiasm and energy than by showing it on their attire.” “There is no doubt that this will give the necessary support to the team on their way to become the T20 champions,” he said.
The dress will be available in store for Rs 1,799. Along with this 10 variants of it have also been launched.
