Corona: Patients under treatment lowest in 214 days

After the arrival of 15,823 new patients in a day, the number of corona cases in the country has increased to 3,40,01,743. At the same time, the national rate of recovery of patients has increased to 98.06 percent. According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry on Wednesday morning, the death toll rose to 4,51,189 after 226 more deaths due to infection. The number of patients under treatment has come down to 2,07,653, which is the lowest in 214 days. In the last 24 hours, the number of patients under treatment has decreased by 7247. According to the data, the daily infection rate is 1.19 percent, which has remained less than 3 percent for the last 44 days. On Tuesday, 13,25,399 tests were conducted to identify corona in the country.

Additional restrictions on those coming from Britain end

The government has withdrawn a travel advisory imposing additional restrictions on people coming from Britain with Corona. This step has been taken after the British government suspended the mandatory screening and isolation rules for those traveling from India to the UK after getting both doses of Covishield. Earlier this month, India said that all British nationals coming from Britain will have to stay in isolation for 10 days.
