Together, the people of the state can get gifts worth crores of rupees. The CMO has summoned the heads of all the departments and the DCs of the districts to report on all the schemes, which are to be inaugurated or laid the foundation stone.
The officers of the districts have been ordered to send this report in 24 hours. Sources associated with the CMO say that simultaneously, the initiation and foundation stone of schemes worth hundreds of crores can be laid in the state. Even before this, during the Corona period, CM has inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development projects in many districts of the state through video conferencing. This whole exercise is also being linked to the urban local body elections to be held in the state.
The report of the DCs of the districts will reach the CMO by Wednesday evening. After this, the CMO will prepare the blueprint of the district wise development projects. After discussion with the CM, a decision will be taken regarding the inauguration of the completed projects and foundation stone of new works. The corona epidemic has also had an impact on development projects. At the same time, due to the ongoing farmers’ agitation on the Delhi border for the last about 10 months, the ministers and legislators of the government have been facing problems in going to the districts and starting development projects. However, in the meantime, ‘Tiranga Yatras’ have been taken out by the BJP in all 90 circles of the state to commemorate the Amrit Mahotsav of the country’s independence.
In the letter sent by the Special Senior Secretary to the Chief Minister, it has been clearly said that they should report about their projects by Wednesday evening. DCs will have to tell which projects are such, which have been completed, or are about to be completed in their districts.
Reports have also been sought for all those projects which have got the government’s in-principle approval and only the foundation stone is yet to be laid. It has been told that the government is no longer in a mood to take any risk due to the farmers’ movement and the second wave of Corona reaching the last stage. The public will be given full benefits of government projects. That is why this information has been sought. Based on this report, a decision will be taken by the Chief Minister in the meeting of the Group of Ministers.
