The government bungalow of late former Union minister and LJP founder Ram Vilas Paswan at 12 Janpath in Delhi has now been allotted to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav. This was the Bengal LJP’s official address in Delhi, where party meetings are also held. Chirag Paswan was living with his family in this bungalow. Chirag Paswan’s uncle Pashupati Paras has got former MP Sharad Yadav’s bungalow. Sharad Yadav is living in a bungalow located at 7 Tughlaq Road Lutyens’ Delhi.
The Union Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry had issued a notice to Chirag Paswan and others to vacate the bungalow. Then Chirag Paswan had asked for some time to vacate the bungalow, an official of the ministry told that the bungalow is for the central ministers. Chirag Paswan is definitely an MP but not a Union Minister.
RCP Singh’s health deteriorated during the roadshow, was taken off from the open vehicle and taken to JDU office.
Pashupati Paras refused to take Ram Vilas to Bengal
Chirag Paswan’s uncle Pashupati Kumar Paras was made a minister in the Narendra Modi-led government last month. Pashupati Paras refused to take this bungalow due to the ongoing tug of war with nephew Chirag over LJP. It is said that Union Minister Pashupati Paras said that if he takes this Bengal then a wrong message will be sent.
Notice issued last month
LJP founder Ram Vilas Paswan lived in this bungalow for nearly three decades till his death in October last year. Presently his wife, son Chirag Paswan and other family members are living here. Last July, the Directorate of Estates, which comes under the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, had issued a notice.
