Khalistani terrorist Bhagwant Singh Pannu has threatened Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur that an organization called The Sikhs of Justice will not allow him to hoist the tricolor flag on August 15. Recorded calls related to this threat came to a large number of people in Himachal today. These phone calls are coming from different numbers in different countries including America. In Shimla today, such phone calls came in large numbers to journalists, officers and general public.
In these recorded phone calls, Khalistani terrorist Bhagwant Singh Pannu is saying that Himachal was a part of Punjab before Punjab reorganization. The Sikh of Justice is demanding a referendum in Punjab and after this referendum, as soon as Punjab becomes independent, then Himachal will also be merged back into Punjab as Himachal was a part of Punjab. In these phone calls, Bhagwant Singh Pannu is heard appealing to Khalistani supporters and farmers to take to the streets with their tractors on August 15 to stop Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur from hoisting the tricolor flag. This phone call is coming many times to many people.
Meanwhile, an official statement issued by the state police on its website said that some Khalistani elements from abroad are making pre-recorded phone calls to journalists and other people in Himachal. The statement said that Himachal Police is fully capable of protecting the state and with the cooperation of central security and intelligence agencies, the anti-national elements will not allow any threat to the peace and security of the state.
