According to the information given on the website of Indian Oil (IOC), on Thursday, petrol in Delhi is being sold at Rs 101.84 per liter and diesel at Rs 89.87 per liter.

On the other hand, relief news is also coming from the crude oil market. Consumers who are troubled by the continuous increase in the prices of petrol and diesel for the last few months may get some relief in the next few days. Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have started assessing the fall in international oil prices and the consequent impact on fuel prices in the country will soon be visible.

Benchmark Brent crude, which touched $77 a barrel last month, has lost 10 per cent in the past 15 days and is currently trading at $68.85 a barrel. If the price of crude oil remains below $ 70 per barrel for the next few more days, then the prices of petrol and diesel may see a decline in the coming days.

Every common and special person is upset due to the increase in the prices of petrol since May. Petrol has become costlier by Rs 11.52 per liter in 42 days. At the same time, the price of diesel also increased by Rs 9.14 per liter in the last two months to Rs 89.87 per liter in the capital.

Talking about the prices in other cities, today petrol in Mumbai is Rs 107.83 and diesel Rs 97.45 per liter, in Kolkata today petrol is Rs 102.08 and diesel Rs 93.02 per liter, in Chennai today petrol Rs 102.49 and diesel Rs 94.39 per liter, in Bangalore today. Petrol exceeds 100 in these states

Petrol prices went above Rs 100 per liter in 15 states including Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Bihar and Punjab due to continuous increase in oil prices. CNG drivers also got a big blow

For the second time in six months, Mahanagar Gas Limited has announced an increase in the prices of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Domestic Piped Natural Gas (PNG) for Mumbai and surrounding areas. The new prices of CNG and PNG have come into effect from the midnight of July 13-14. 800,000 vehicles in Mumbai and surrounding areas use CNG. Mahanagar Gas Limited has increased the price of CNG by Rs 2.58 per kg. After this new price hike, the new price of CNG has increased to Rs 51.98 per kg. Along with this, now there is also the fear that the fare of public transport vehicles will also increase.
