Japan to increase share of renewable energy to reduce carbon emissions



According to the Japanese government, renewable energy should account for 36 to 38 percent of the total energy supply by 2030, compared to the current target of 22 to 24 percent. The share of new fuels such as hydrogen and ammonia will be one percent .
