BJP members were stabbed to death by a Trinamool Congress worker in Ketugram, accusing BJP members: police

A 54-year-old Trinamool Congress worker was stabbed to death in East Bardhaman district of West Bengal. Police told about this on Tuesday. A police officer said that Trinamool Congress panchayat member Srinivas Ghosh (54) in Agarthanga area of ​​Ketugram was allegedly stabbed to death by BJP members on Monday night when he was returning home. The officer said Ghosh was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead. Three people were injured in the incident and are undergoing treatment. The BJP denied the allegations and said its members had no involvement with the incident.


Tension prevailed in the area after the incident. Police have said that a large number of police personnel have been deployed to avoid any further confrontation. He said that 4 people have been detained in connection with the incident.
